"O"...It's Worth It!
Choosing "Organic" is no longer a trend.
In fact, it is fast becoming a popular choice...the very reason why
when it comes to food products for instance, organic is accessible
through most major grocers such as Safeway, Co-op and Superstore.
Not only does this make shopping for organic more convenient, these
big chains are actually producing their own lines of "certified
organic" products. Now you can find "certified organic" in almost
every aisle, from juices to jams, to cereals to seafood (yes,
seafood...Safeway carries their own "O" Certified Organic shrimp!!)
Now even though "organic" products are becoming more and more
accessible there still seems to be much question as to what it is
all about. Without getting into the detailed logistics, organic is
far more healthy than conventional. Being "Certified" as "Organic"
means that
the "manufacturer" develops or produces their products under strict
guidelines set forth by a professional, organic certification board. |
This means that their product is
produced without the use of pesticides or chemicals. To the consumer
this is an assurance that what they are consuming is safe from these
toxins. If that doesn't convince you to go organic, what will?
And further, because the manufacturers use processes from the
beginning to end that consciously preserve the most natural state of
the environment, their products are actually helping us to save our
Earth. Sold yet?
So next time you are shopping...make the conscious choice. We can
bet there is an organic option sitting right next to most any
conventional product.
